The housing we use will be a genuine Apple part taken from a donor MacBook, as brand-new genuine housings are not available on the market—only non-genuine ones are, which we avoid for quality reasons.

If a housing replacement is needed, we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Please be aware that the usual turnaround of 1–2 days will not apply in such cases, as additional time may be required to source a suitable part.

OS update required:
For MacBook Pro 16 inch models, it’s important to update macOS after the screen replacement. Replacement displays manufactured in 2025 or newer include updated firmware, which older macOS versions may not support. Without the update, a faint “ghost” box might appear in the top-right corner of the screen.
If you’ve provided your MacBook password, we’ll update macOS during the repair. Otherwise, please update it once you receive your device.

Third-Party Screens: Unlike many repair shops, we never use third-party screens from sources like eBay. These may look fine externally but often have poor backlight quality and faulty hinges over time.
