OS update required:

Replacement displays manufactured in 2025 or newer include updated firmware, which older macOS versions may not support. Without the update, a faint “ghost” box might appear in the top-right corner of the screen.
If you’ve provided your MacBook password, we’ll update macOS during the repair. Otherwise, please update it once you receive your device.
